Sanitary pads are not readily available for girls and women in some countries. Sierra Leone Rising works with The Pad Project and Days for Girls to provide materials for communities to create washable, reusable sanitary pads. In the video below, Hindo Kposowa Esq. shows the girls how to use the pads. It’s exciting to have a young man supporting menstrual health for young women.
